As I read Peter Mallouk and Tony Robbins' book called "the Path," Tony said that he has the privilege to work with many great people and not that's a little of them says "Is this all there is?" They all work hard to know that the air is quite thin up there. Pathetic, isn't it?
Financial freedom has a pattern, and if you master it, sure will do you will achieve it. But is it pathetic if you finally achieve that goal yet you still feel empty? Tony called the art of fulfillment is all you have to master for your psychology.
Of course, we all want financial freedom not because of the piece of paper or some number in our bank account. We want to enjoy the moment with family, holiday with loves ones, buying that crazy fast car, a big yacht and work as we want to, not as we have to. That is what we are after! You see, that's all that brings you joy, satisfaction, love, comfort, and peace of mind.
From this perspective, we know that the real wealth isn't coming from the money but the emotion that you felt when she says "I do" in the aisle, or your children first cry when they are born, maybe when you hit a good shot to the green as well if you play golf.
The point is, you don't have to wait for your soul to be fulfilled. It is not the circumstances that make you emotionally terrible, but it is within you who can decide your emotional state.
Yes, financial freedom is important, but Tony says a million times that without mastering the art of fulfillment, you will still feel miserable about yourself. And that is the ultimate failure!
I hope we have to learn together that we can feel fulfilled even before reaching the summit of our goal. Gratitude is one of the critical keys for us to feel joy and comfort, yet we have to fight ourselves to discipline our emotional state.
