The first stocks I bought not one stock. The only thing that I thought is having a mining company would be great. So I looked for a mining company with low price to book value(PBV), price-earnings ratio(PER), and high return on equity(ROE). Yeah, I only used 3 indicators to buy a company that day after reading my first book "Value Investing" by Teguh Hidayat. Pretty simple book for starting stock investing. So that day I bought my first mining company PT. Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk (MBAP). Because the first day was filled with enjoyment, I'm not buying just one company, also because I'm in a civil engineering major, so I thought some construction company would be nice! With the same method, I found PT. Waskita Karya (persero) Tbk (WSKT). Just in 24 hours, I can't hold myself to buy another company. It's all because my senior in high school recommended me some stocks, then I looked at all of them and do my screening just like the first time. So that day I bought finance company PT. Wahana Ottotirta Multiartha Tbk (WOMF), crude palm oil company PT. Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk (TBLA), textile company PT. Sri Rejeki Isman (SRIL), and plastic company PT. Panca Budi Idaman Tbk (PBID). In just 48 hours I bought 6 companies just using 3 indicators without seeing any other things. That is something hilarious now isn't it?😂
